Chapter 4 - The Fall of BrielleWhile Grant and his father were being processed at the federal precinct, private security teams executed simultaneous search warrants on Brielle’s luxury apartment in River North.

The high-end residence—purchased using embezzled Marlowe trust capital provided by Grant—was seized under federal civil asset forfeiture laws.

Inside the grand living room, Brielle stood frantic before open safes, trying to pack gold jewelry and designer handbags into leather suitcases.

BOOM!

The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!

Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed officers.

"Brielle Vance!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"

Brielle spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY FIANCÉ IS THE EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF WHITAKER ENTERPRISE! YOU CAN'T TOUCH MY PROPERTY!"

"Grant Whitaker is currently in federal holding facing twenty years in a federal penitentiary without parole, Miss Vance," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under your name has been seized by order of Chairwoman Tessa Marlowe."

The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:

THE ASSET RECOVERY: Immediate repossession of her five-carat engagement ring, luxury vehicles, and credit accounts.

THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her River North estate.

THE TERMINATION: Permanent revocation of her corporate credentials and social memberships.

Brielle collapsed flat onto the marble floor, weeping hysterical, pathetic tears as officers served her with civil seizure notices while news crews filmed her total, public disgrace.
