Chapter 6 - The Feast of the RelativesThe thirty Tran family relatives stood in the dining room in complete, spellbound silence.

Uncle Hung looked at the two titanium cooler crates of Live King Red Crab resting on the table, then looked at me standing in my ivory blazer, royal, sovereign, and entirely unbroken.
Uncle Hung cleared his throat nervously, bowing his head deeply toward me. "Emily... we... we had no idea Daniel and Margaret were doing this to you. We are deeply ashamed of how they treated you in this house."
The remaining twenty-nine relatives quickly followed suit, bowing their heads in deep respect and embarrassment, offering hurried apologies for ever laughing at Margaret's arrogant comments.
"You don't need to apologize to me," I said calmly, looking around the grand table. "You were invited here tonight for a feast, and I am not a woman who wastes good seafood."
I turned to the Ocean Crown delivery team.
"Open the crates," I ordered gently. "Prepare the King Crab for the guests."
For the next two hours, the thirty relatives sat at the grand table, eating the thirty-two-million-dong King Crab feast provided by my company. But there were no arrogant toasts to Daniel, no bragging from Margaret, and no disrespect offered toward the head of the house.
Every relative spoke to me with deep reverence, treating me not as a quiet housewife, but as the formidable corporate matriarch I had always been.
At 10:00 PM, after the guests had quietly departed, Rachel Vance walked out onto the sunlit patio overlooking the private pool, handing me a glass of iced mineral water.

"Daniel and Margaret are being held without bail at the central detention facility," Rachel reported smoothly. "The divorce filings have been submitted, and full asset recovery proceedings against Margaret's villa in Vung Tau have commenced. You will recover every single dong stolen from Ocean Crown."
I looked out at the rain stopping over the Saigon skyline, feeling a deep, weightless peace settle into every corner of my soul.
