Chapter 7 - The Unbroken HorizonOn a warm, golden evening in late October, the grand rooftop terrace of the Soho headquarters was filled with light, music, and laughter.

A private gathering of two hundred close friends, corporate directors, and international partners sat at elegant candlelit tables overlooking the glittering, sunset-bathed skyline of New York City.

I stood near the glass balustrade wearing a breathtaking, simple emerald silk gown that caught the evening light like liquid gold. Around my neck rested a delicate, flawless solitaire diamond—a piece I had purchased for myself with my own independent earnings.

Beside me stood Arthur Vance and Marcus, holding glasses of vintage champagne, laughing warmly as we watched the sun dip below the horizon.

Arthur raised his glass toward me, his face filled with deep, quiet pride.

"A toast," Arthur announced softly, "to Chairman Clara Sterling. The woman who built an empire, broke her own chains, and reclaimed her destiny."

"To Clara!" the surrounding directors echoed in a warm, joyous chorus, their glasses clinking together in the golden light.

I took a sip of champagne, looking out over the vast, beautiful city stretching before me—a city that no longer held any shadows, any fear, or any broken promises.

The broken glass near the sink was gone. The rubber gloves were buried. The cold schedule was erased forever.

And standing under the vast, unbroken sky, bathed in the golden light of my own victory, I knew that my life, my freedom, and my empire were finally, beautifully, and forever my own.
