Inside the grand master bedroom, Pietro’s socialite fiancée, Victoria Vane, stood frantic before open safes, trying to pack gold jewelry, designer handbags, and offshore bearer bonds into leather suitcases.
BOOM!
The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!
Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed Vance Security officers.
"Victoria Vane!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"
Victoria spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY FIANCÉ IS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF MANCUSO SECURITY! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"
"Mr. Pietro Rossi and Mr. Victor Vane are currently in federal holding facing life imprisonment without possibility of parole for Attempted First-Degree Murder, Miss Vane," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under their family's shell companies has been repossessed by order of Chairwoman Julia Mancuso."
The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:
THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of her luxury vehicles, jewelry collections, and bank accounts.
THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her Gold Coast penthouse.
