Chapter 4 - The Fall of the Corrupt SyndicateWhile Owen Pierce and his co-conspirators were being processed at the federal precinct without bail, tactical units executed simultaneous search warrants on Owen’s luxury estate in Cherry Creek, Denver.

The high-end residence—purchased using embezzled Vale freight capital—was seized under federal civil asset forfeiture laws.

Inside the grand master bedroom, Owen’s socialite wife, Victoria Pierce, stood frantic before open safes, trying to pack gold jewelry, designer handbags, and bearer bonds into leather suitcases.

BOOM!

The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!

Deputy Marshal Vance stepped inside, flanked by four armed security officers.

"Victoria Pierce!" Deputy Vance declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"

Victoria spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! THIS ESTATE BELONGS TO OWEN PIERCE! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"

"Mr. Owen Pierce is currently in federal holding facing life imprisonment without possibility of parole, Mrs. Pierce," Deputy Vance informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under his name has been repossessed by order of the Daniel Carter Estate."

The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:

THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of her luxury vehicles, jewelry collections, and bank accounts.

THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her Cherry Creek residence.

THE TERMINATION: Permanent revocation of her corporate credentials and social club memberships.

Victoria collapsed flat onto the marble floor, weeping hysterical, pathetic tears as officers served her with civil seizure notices while news crews filmed her total, public disgrace.
