Chapter 4 - The Siege at the EstateAt 5:00 PM, the heavy iron security gates of the Bandi Estate in Gold Coast, Long Island were surrounded by twelve dark tactical vehicles and sixty-seven heavily armed mercenaries belonging to the Rostova syndicate.

Inside the stone mansion, Marco Bandi and twenty surviving family enforcers were pinned down behind the marble pillars of the grand foyer, their ammunition running low under a relentless hail of automatic fire.
Outside the perimeter wall, the black armored Maybach cut its headlights, coasting silently into the tree line behind the west wing.
Maya stepped out into the rainy woods wearing full dark tactical gear, a Kevlar vest bearing her old commander crest, holding a suppressed assault rifle with an infrared night-vision optic.
Beside her stood Nicolo, wearing a bulletproof vest, his eyes burning with an absolute, unshakeable steel.
"There are sixty-seven men on that lawn, Maya," Nicolo noted quietly, checking his magazine.
"Sixty-seven targets, Nicolo," Maya corrected flatly.
She raised her tactical headset, activating her private satellite relay. "Marco, do you read me?"
"Commander Vance?!" Marco’s voice gasped through the earpiece over the deafening roars of gunfire. "They're breaching the front doors! We can't hold the foyer!"
"Kill the main power grid in three seconds, Marco," Maya ordered cleanly. "And close your eyes."
Maya reached into her tactical belt, pulling out two heavy flash-bang grenades, pulling the pins with her teeth.
"1... 2... 3."
