Chapter 5 - The Opening of the WingSix months later, in May 2027, the sweeping plaza outside St. Bridget’s Children’s Hospital in Manhattan was bathed in brilliant spring sunshine.

Over three hundred doctors, nurses, rescued patients, community leaders, and journalists gathered before a grand red ribbon stretched across the newly constructed state-of-the-art facility.
Standing at the central presentation podium, wearing a tailored navy silk dress that celebrated her full, radiant health, was Nora Ferraro. Her dark hair fell in glossy waves over her shoulders, her hazel eyes shining with absolute victory, inner peace, and sovereign grace.
Beside her stood Luca Ferraro, looking magnificent in a dark bespoke suit. His broad arm was wrapped securely around her waist, holding her close to his side with an unbroken, fierce pride.
The hospital's Chief of Pediatric Oncology stepped to the microphone:
"Six months ago, thirty-two children in this city were facing the end of their treatment options," the chief announced to the cheering crowd. "Today, thanks to the vision of Director Nora Ferraro and the absolute backing of Ferraro Global, every child in this wing receives free, world-class medical care."
Nora stepped up to the microphone, holding a pair of golden ceremonial scissors. She looked up at Luca, who offered her a soft, breathtaking smile—a look of pure, eternal love that lit up his severe features.
