Chapter 4 - The Execution on the FloorRyan thrashed wildly, his hands clawing frantic, uselessly against Ethan’s iron arm as his face turned an ugly, mottled shade of purple. His breath came in ragged, wheezing gasps as his boots kicked pathetically against the desk.

The two night-shift guards took one terrified step backward, their hands trembling near their belts, completely paralyzed by the sheer, terrifying physical dominance of their employer.
Ethan didn't squeeze harder. He held Ryan suspended against the steel console, his storm-gray eyes burning into Ryan’s bulging eyes with a dark, apocalyptic fury.
"You put your hands on a woman in my house, Ryan?" Ethan whispered softly. His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an unyielding, velvet power that filled every corner of the room. "You choked a girl whose mother is fighting for her life, and you used your uncle's name to make her tremble?"
"Caldwell... please..." Ryan choked out, tears of wild, overwhelming panic spilling down his pale cheeks. "Forgive me... my uncle... Arthur..."
Ethan slammed Ryan hard against the steel console, dropping him flat onto his knees right on the carpeted floorboards.
Ryan collapsed forward, clutching his throat, coughing violently, weeping like a broken child.
Ethan reached down, pulling a sleek black encrypted tablet from his inner pocket, tossing it flat onto the console in front of Thomas.
"Thomas," Ethan commanded smoothly, pulling a white linen handkerchief from his pocket to wipe his fingers.
"Yes, sir?"
"Call Special Agent Miller at the FBI Financial Crimes Division. Tell him that Arthur Miller's thirty-million-dollar offshore embezzlement files from Caldwell Logistics are ready for execution."
Ryan’s head snapped up. His face went paper-white. "WHAT?! NO! MY UNCLE HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG!"
"Your uncle has been stealing from my secondary maritime accounts for eighteen months, Ryan," Ethan revealed deadpan, looking down at the groveling bully with absolute disdain. "I allowed him to remain in his office because I was waiting for the final Cayman routing numbers. But because his nephew decided to act like an animal in my kitchen tonight... I am liquidating his entire life three days early."
Ethan stepped over Ryan's trembling legs, walking toward the double doors.
"Thomas," Ethan added flatly without looking back.
"Sir?"
"Have the state police arrest Ryan Miller for Felony Assault, Attempted Extortion, and Domestic Battery. Ensure his bail is set at five million dollars cash."

"Consider it done, Mr. Caldwell," Thomas bowed respectfully.
Ryan wept hysterically on the floorboards as the two corporate security directors pinned his arms behind his back, locking heavy steel handcuffs around his wrists as he was dragged away in total, public disgrace.
