Chapter 7 - Unbroken and Forever HomeOn a warm, clear Saturday afternoon in late May 2026, the vast oceanfront terrace of the restored Vale Estate was decorated with blooming white orchids, yellow sunflowers, and sunlit champagne tables for our official wedding and foundation celebration.

Over three hundred prominent business leaders, supreme court justices, legal teams, Marcus Reed, Frank Miller, and close friends gathered around white-linen tables set up along the stone patio, enjoying fine food and live acoustic music.

I stood near the marble balustrade wearing a breathtaking, floor-length ivory silk wedding gown designed to celebrate every line of my unbroken, radiant figure. My dark hair fell in glossy waves over my shoulders, my hazel eyes shining with absolute, unshakeable victory, inner peace, and sovereign grace.

Down on my left hand rested an exquisite, ten-carat emerald-cut diamond ring—a symbol of Dominic’s eternal, unbroken love.

Dominic Vale walked out onto the terrace wearing an immaculate black tuxedo, holding two glasses of sunlit champagne, stepping up beside me near the balustrade.

He set the glasses down, wrapping his broad, warm arms around my waist, pulling my back flush against his solid frame.

He rested his chin gently against my shoulder, kissing my cheek with a depth of reverence that warmed every corner of my soul.

"What are you thinking about, my queen?" Dominic whispered softly into my ear.

I looked out over the vast, sparkling blue waters of the lake stretching before us into the unbroken horizon, leaning my head comfortably back against his broad chest.

"I was thinking about a wet towel in a small diner," I answered softly, a radiant, beautiful smile lighting up my face. "And how wiping a scratch on a stranger's cheek brought me straight to the love of my life."

Dominic offered a soft, breathtaking smile—a look of pure, eternal love that lit up his severe, handsome features.

He gently took my hand, resting my palm flat against his jaw—the skin warm, relaxed, and completely free of fear.

"You healed my soul, Lily," Dominic promised, his deep voice thick with emotion, leaning down to press his lips against mine in a deep, unhurried, and passionate kiss. "And I will spend the rest of my life cherishing yours."

Marcus Reed raised his champagne glass from the primary table, his deep baritone carrying cleanly across the quiet grounds.

"To Don Dominic and Donna Lily Vale!" Marcus toasted with deep, genuine pride. "The sovereign family who built an empire of honor out of unbroken strength, truth, and eternal love!"

"To Dominic and Lily!" the entire terrace echoed in a warm, triumphant chorus, dozens of crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.

Across the dark, sparkling blue waters of the lake, the evening sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in sweeping tapestries of indigo, gold, and deep sapphire.

There were no arrogant rival bosses making threats in parking lots. There were no dark alleyways or sudden phone calls separating our hearts from peace. There were no tears, debts, or fears keeping us apart.

The quiet, exhausted waitress was dead forever. The sovereign CEO, matriarch, and queen had claimed her true home.

And standing under the vast, unbroken sky, wrapped safe in the arms of the man who loved her, listening to the silver applause under the spring sun, Lily Carter knew that her life, her heart, and her family were finally, beautifully, and forever home.
