Chapter 4 - THE TRIBUNAL OF ROLLINS GLOBALThree weeks later.

The news of the scandal had hit the national business headlines like a megaton bomb:

WALL STREET JOURNAL: ROLLINS GLOBAL CFO SABRINA ROLLINS FOILS $38M INSIDER FRAUD; FORMER CEO KENNETH ROLLINS AND ACCOMPLICE ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE FEDERAL CHARGES.

DENVER POST: MEDICAL BATTERY AND CORRUPTION: INSIDE THE SHOCKING FALL OF KENNETH ROLLINS.

The corporate world was reeling, but inside Rollins Global Headquarters, the atmosphere was electrifying.

I stood at the head of the grand auditorium on the 1st floor, facing three hundred corporate shareholders, press reporters, and staff members. Behind me, a giant digital screen displayed the company's newly restructured financial balance sheet.

I had spent twenty-one sleepless days working alongside Deloitte’s forensic team and federal authorities.

We had successfully recovered every single penny of the $38.5 million stolen through Apex Horizon Ltd. The accounts had been seized under Clause 14-B and reallocated directly back into Rollins Global’s clean-water infrastructure project.

The room fell into a quiet hush as I stepped up to the podium.

"Three weeks ago," I began, my voice carrying clearly through the crisp auditorium acoustics, "Rollins Global faced an unprecedented threat—not from market forces, but from betrayal within our highest executive office."

I looked out at the sea of faces—men and women who had dedicated their lives to this company, whose pensions and futures had been endangered by my ex-husband's greed.

"Today," I continued, holding up the certified audit charter, "I am proud to announce that Apex Horizon Ltd has been completely liquidated. Every dollar of stolen capital has been returned to our core reserves. Furthermore, our clean-water project in Eastern Colorado will break ground next Monday, fully funded."

The room exploded into a deafening round of applause. Shareholders stood up, clapping enthusiastically.

My father, sitting in the front row alongside Justin, wiped a tear of pure pride from his eye.

When the applause finally subsided, Marcus Vance stepped up to the microphone beside me.

"As lead legal counsel," Marcus announced, "and by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors, we hereby confirm the permanent appointment of Sabrina Rollins as Chief Executive Officer and Chairwoman of Rollins Global Enterprises!"

The applause thundered again, louder than before.

I smiled, accepting the gavel from my father, holding it firmly in my hand.

After the assembly, as guests enjoyed champagne in the lobby, Marcus walked over to me, holding two glasses of sparkling water.

"A brilliant victory, Chairwoman," Marcus smiled, handing me a glass. "Kenneth’s legal team tried to file for a bail hearing this morning."

I raised an eyebrow. "And?"

"The judge took one look at the medical battery evidence from Saint Jude's and denied bail entirely," Marcus chuckled softly. "Kenneth and Maya will remain in federal custody until their trial in November. They are facing a minimum of twenty-five years in federal prison."

"And Dr. Victor Vance?" I asked.

"His medical license was permanently revoked yesterday," Marcus reported. "And he is currently facing thirty years for felony conspiracy and medical assault."

I nodded slowly, sipping my water, looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows toward the Rocky Mountains.

"Is something still bothering you, Sabrina?" Marcus asked gently, observing the quiet reflection in my eyes.

"No, Marcus," I whispered, touching the small gold locket around my neck that held a photograph of my father and mother. "For the first time in my life, everything is exactly where it belongs."
