Chapter 5 - The Legal BlitzkriegDawn broke over the Dallas skyline, painting the manicured lawns of my estate in shades of gold and amber, but inside the executive study, the atmosphere was clinical and lethal.

Emma sat quietly in the corner armchair, wrapped in a blanket, listening to the scale of the betrayal with a quiet, dignified composure. I walked over, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder before turning back to Marcus. "Can we freeze everything immediately?" I asked. "Every account, every vehicle, every luxury asset they purchased with my money?" Marcus smiled grimly, tapping a stack of freshly printed injunction orders. "Not only can we freeze them, but thanks to the federal interstate wire fraud statutes and the ironclad corporate governance bylaws you set up when you founded the empire, we can have federal marshals seize their newly purchased mansions, luxury cars, and bank accounts by noon today. They won't even be able to buy a cup of coffee without our authorization." I nodded slowly, feeling the cold weight of justice settling over my shoulders. "Do it," I commanded. "Show them no mercy. They thought they could build an empire on my back while enslaving my wife. Now they get to experience what it's like to have absolutely nothing." By mid-morning, as federal agents executed simultaneous search and seizure warrants across my family's newly acquired properties across Dallas, the arrogant illusion of their untouchable wealth collapsed into dust.
