Chapter 7 - Unbroken and Forever HomeOn a clear, warm Saturday afternoon in late October 2026, the sweeping oceanfront gardens and glass observatories of the Sullivan Estate in Franklin were decorated with blooming white orchids, yellow sunflowers, and sunlit tables for Megan's and my official marriage vow renewal celebration and the triplets' first birthday.

The dark, predatory shadow of dusty highways, picked cans, forged photos, and thirteen months of sunless separation was permanently, historically erased from our lives.

Over three hundred prominent community leaders, supreme court justices, Marcus Vance, Bridget Colton, Dr. Karen Whitmore, and close operational brothers gathered around white-linen tables set up along the stone patio, enjoying fine food, vintage wine, and live acoustic music.

Donna Megan Bennett-Sullivan stood near the grand marble balustrade wearing a breathtaking floor-length ivory silk wedding gown that caught the soft autumn breeze. Her dark hair fell in glossy waves over her shoulders, her hazel eyes radiant with tears of pure, weightless joy.

Down on her right hand rested the ten-carat emerald signet ring—the official Seal of the Sullivan Family Matriarch.

Ten-month-old triplets Mason, Bryce, and little Hazel sat happily in their sunlit stroller on the manicured green lawn, giggling as Marcus Vance held up a giant dragon kite near the lawn, their bright, beautiful laughter echoing across the rolling hills of Tennessee.

I walked out onto the stone terrace wearing an immaculate dark charcoal bespoke tuxedo, holding two glasses of sunlit cider, stepping up beside Megan near the balustrade.

I wrapped my broad, warm arm around her waist, pulling her frame flush against my solid six-foot-four frame, leaning down to press a sweet, lingering kiss against her lips.

"What are you thinking about, my queen?" I whispered softly into her ear, my deep baritone thick with emotion.

Megan looked out over the vast, sparkling green hills stretching before us into the unbroken horizon, leaning her head comfortably back against my broad chest.

"I was thinking about a dusty road ten months ago, Garrett," Megan answered softly, a radiant, beautiful smile lighting up my face. "And how that scary afternoon brought our children, your true heart, and us straight to our true home."

I offered a soft, breathtaking smile—a look of pure, eternal devotion that softened my severe features.

"You saved my life and my soul, Megan," I promised, pulling her and our triplets Mason, Bryce, and Hazel into my broad, protective embrace under the autumn sun. "And I will spend the rest of my life protecting yours."

Marcus Vance raised his champagne glass from the primary table, his clear, strong baritone carrying cleanly across the quiet grounds.

"To Don Garrett, Donna Megan, and Princes Mason and Bryce, and Princess Hazel Sullivan!" Marcus toasted with deep, genuine pride. "The sovereign family who broke the dark, conquered the storm, and claimed their true home!"

"To the Sullivan family!" the entire terrace echoed in a warm, triumphant chorus, dozens of crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.

Across the dark, sparkling green hills of Tennessee, the evening sun set beneath the horizon, painting the sky in sweeping tapestries of gold, rose, and deep sapphire.

There were no arrogant traitors, dusty highways, or cold regrets keeping their hearts from peace. There were no fears, debts, or shadows separating their lives.

The foolish, arrogant Don of my past was dead forever. The sovereign protector, father, and husband had claimed his true home.

And standing under the vast, unbroken sky, wrapped safe in the arms of the woman he loved, watching his baby triplets laugh under the autumn sun, Garrett Sullivan knew that his life, his heart, and his family were finally, beautifully, and forever home.
