Chapter 7 - Unbroken and Forever HomeThree years later, on a brilliant, sunlit afternoon in late spring, the grand oceanfront terrace was filled with warmth, music, and laughter.

Nine-year-old Milo, Mason, Max, and Micah were playing a spirited game of soccer on the rolling green lawn below, while two-year-old Grace ran happily through the shallow grass chasing a golden retriever puppy.
Their clear, joyous laughter echoed across the quiet blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean, carried gently by the warm afternoon breeze.
I stood near the marble balustrade wearing a simple linen shirt and dark trousers, holding a glass of iced tea, watching my five children play.
Mara walked out through the french doors, wearing a simple white summer dress, stepping up beside me to wrap her arms around my waist from behind, resting her cheek against my broad back.
I turned around, wrapping my arms gently around her, pulling her flush against my chest, looking deep into her clear green eyes.
"What are you thinking about, Dominic?" Mara asked softly, a radiant, happy smile touching her lips.
"I'm thinking about a cold February afternoon in a restaurant restroom," I whispered softly into her hair. "The day four little boys walked into my life wearing my face... and gave me back everything that mattered."
Mara looked up into my gray-blue eyes—the exact same eyes that looked back at her from four handsome young boys playing on the lawn—and squeezed my waist tightly.
"We made it home, Dominic," she whispered against my lips.

"We're home forever, sweet pea," I swore under the open sky.
Outside the grand iron gates of the estate, the city of Manhattan continued to spin, but standing on the sunlit terrace, surrounded by the unbroken family I had been given a second chance to love, I knew that the Moretti dynasty was no longer a story of shadows and war—it was a legacy of light, unbroken, radiant, and forever home.
