Chapter 4 - The Fall of the ConspiratorsWhile Carlos Mendoza and Diego Mendoza were being processed at the federal precinct without bail, private security teams executed simultaneous search warrants on Diego’s luxury penthouse in River Oaks, Houston.

The high-end residence—purchased using embezzled Reyes trust capital—was repossessed under federal civil asset forfeiture laws.

Inside the grand master bedroom, Diego’s socialite fiancée, Victoria Blake, stood frantic before open floor safes, trying to pack gold jewelry, designer handbags, and offshore bearer bonds into leather duffel bags.

BOOM!

The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!

Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed Vance Security officers.

"Victoria Blake!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"

Victoria spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY FIANCÉ IS CHAIRMAN OF MENDOZA LOGISTICS! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"

"Mr. Diego Mendoza and Mr. Carlos Mendoza are currently in federal holding facing life imprisonment without possibility of parole, Miss Blake," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under their family's shell companies has been repossessed by order of Chairwoman Clara Reyes-Marshall."

The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:

THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of all luxury vehicles, jewelry collections, and bank accounts.

THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her River Oaks penthouse.

THE TERMINATION: Permanent revocation of her high-society credentials and corporate access.

Victoria collapsed flat onto the marble floor, weeping hysterical, pathetic tears as officers served her with civil seizure notices while news crews filmed her total, public disgrace.
