The high-end residence—purchased using embezzled Bennett trust capital—was seized under federal civil asset forfeiture laws.
Inside the grand living room, Dr. Vance’s daughter, Vanessa Vance, stood frantic before open safes, trying to pack gold jewelry and offshore bearer bonds into leather bags.
BOOM!
The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!
Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed Vance Security officers.
"Vanessa Vance!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"
Vanessa spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY FATHER IS CHIEF SURGEON OF MORETTI MEDICAL! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"
"Dr. Richard Vance is currently in federal holding facing thirty years in a federal penitentiary without parole, Miss Vance," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under your name has been seized by order of Trustee Clara Bennett."
The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:
THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of her jewelry collections, luxury vehicles, and bank accounts.
THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her Upper East Side estate.
