Chapter 6 - The Rose in KensingtonOver three hundred prominent business leaders, supreme court justices, international ministers, and close friends gathered around white-linen tables set up along the stone patio, enjoying fine food and live acoustic music.

I stood near the marble balustrade wearing a breathtaking, floor-length ivory silk gown that celebrated every curve of my figure. My dark hair fell in glossy waves over my shoulders, my hazel eyes shining with absolute, unshakeable victory.

Down on my right hand rested my mother's historic platinum signet ring—the symbol of the Quinn family legacy—shining bright under the afternoon sun.

Four-year-old Lily—wearing a yellow silk sun dress and a crown of daisies—ran across the manicured green lawn, giggling happily as she played tag with a golden retriever puppy my mother had bought her.

My mother, Donna Victoria Quinn, walked out onto the terrace wearing an immaculate cream suit, stepping up beside me, wrapping her arm gently around my shoulder.

"You rebuilt the empire, Claire," my mother whispered proudly, her eyes shining with deep, genuine love as she watched Lily play. "And you protected our blood."

"I didn't just rebuild the empire, Mom," I smiled radiantly, leaning my head against her shoulder. "I found my true voice."

Arthur Vance walked up to our table, holding a glass of sunlit champagne, bowing his head with deep respect. "The NordTech integration is complete, Donna Claire. Our stock valuation hit twenty-eight billion euros at the close of trading today."

"To Quinn Global," my mother toasted, clinking her glass against mine.

"To our family," I promised softly.
