Chapter 7 - Unbroken and Forever HomeAt 8:30 PM, as the spring sun dipped below the Miami horizon, painting the sky in sweeping tapestries of indigo, gold, and deep sapphire, the private terrace was illuminated by dozens of soft, twinkling fairy lights.

Three-year-old Noah ran up the marble steps of the terrace, throwing his small arms around my legs and Grace's dress, giggling happily as I scooped him up into my broad chest.

I held my son securely against my broad shoulder while wrapping my free arm around Grace’s waist, pulling her body flush against mine under the twinkling lights.

Leo raised his champagne glass toward our table, his deep baritone carrying cleanly across the quiet grounds.

"To Don Daniel, Donna Grace, and Prince Noah Cole!" Leo toasted with deep, genuine pride. "The sovereign family who built an empire with unbroken strength, truth, and eternal love!"

"To the Cole family!" the entire terrace echoed in a warm, triumphant chorus, dozens of crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.

Across the dark, sparkling blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean, brilliant bursts of gold, sapphire, and silver fireworks exploded into the night sky, illuminating the smiling faces of our guests gathered on the lawn below.

There were no arrogant socialites striking faces in grand foyers. There were no corrupt mothers plotting to send children away to Switzerland. There were no tears swallowed in dark nurseries.

The cold, ruthless Don was dead forever. The sovereign father and husband had claimed his true home.

And standing under the vast, unbroken sky, wrapped in the arms of the woman who loved every inch of my body and soul, holding our son safe in our hands, I knew that my life, my heart, and my family were finally, beautifully, and forever home.
