Inside the grand living room, Dr. Vale’s socialite daughter, Victoria Vale, stood frantic before open safes, trying to pack gold jewelry and offshore bearer bonds into leather suitcases.
BOOM!
The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!
Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed Vance Security officers.
"Victoria Vale!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"
Victoria spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY FATHER IS CHIEF OF SURGERY AT SAINT JUDE'S! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"
"Dr. Adrian Vale is currently in federal holding facing life imprisonment without possibility of parole, Miss Vale," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under your family's name has been repossessed by order of Chairwoman Clara and Nora Brooks."
The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:
THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of her jewelry collections, luxury vehicles, and bank accounts.
THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her Rittenhouse Square penthouse.
