Chapter 7 - Unbroken and Forever HomeSix months after the night at Pier 92, a warm, clear spring sun painted the sky over our oceanfront estate in Westchester in brilliant shades of gold, rose, and deep sapphire.

The dark, predatory shadow of Victor Costa was permanently, historically erased.

Under Dominic's leadership, the Rossi empire was fully converted into a legitimate, multi-billion-dollar international logistics conglomerate, with thirty percent of its voting equity assigned to the Thomas Vance Memorial Foundation for Heart Disease—a fifty-million-dollar charitable trust managed by my fully recovered mother, Ellen, who now lived in a sunlit guest villa on our estate.

On a warm, clear Saturday afternoon in late May, the vast oceanfront terrace of our estate was decorated with blooming white orchids, yellow roses, and sunlit champagne for our official public wedding rededication.

Over three hundred prominent business leaders, supreme court judges, corporate partners, and family gathered around white-linen tables set up along the stone patio, enjoying fine food and live acoustic music.

I stood near the marble balustrade wearing a breathtaking, floor-length ivory silk wedding gown that celebrated every curve of my figure. My dark hair fell in glossy waves over my shoulders, my hazel eyes shining with absolute, unshakeable victory.

Down on my right hand rested the heavy gold wedding band Dominic had slipped onto my finger six months ago, now paired with a seven-carat flawless emerald-cut diamond ring.

Dominic walked out onto the terrace wearing an immaculate black tuxedo, stepping up behind me, wrapping his broad, warm arms around my waist, pulling my back flush against his solid chest.

He pressed a sweet, lingering kiss against my temple, his storm-gray eyes shining with an absolute, unshakeable devotion.

"What are you thinking about, my queen?" Dominic whispered softly into my ear.

I looked out over the vast, sparkling blue waters of the Hudson River stretching before us into the unbroken horizon, feeling a deep, weightless peace settle into every corner of my soul.

"I was thinking about seven bullets in an ICU room," I answered softly, turning in his arms to rest my hands against his broad chest. "When a dangerous Don slipped a gold ring onto a sleeping girl's finger."

Dominic offered a rare, breathtaking smile—a look of pure, eternal love that lit up his severe, handsome face.

"I didn't just slip a ring onto your finger, Sienna," Dominic promised, leaning down to press his lips softly, fiercely against mine in a deep, unhurried kiss. "I found my soul."

Isabella raised her champagne glass from the main table, her deep voice carrying cleanly across the quiet grounds.

"To Don Dominic, Donna Sienna, and the memory of Thomas Vance!" Isabella toasted with deep, genuine pride. "The sovereign family who rebuilt an empire with unbroken strength, truth, and eternal love!"

"To the Rossi family!" the entire terrace echoed in a warm, triumphant chorus, dozens of crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.

Across the dark, sparkling waters, brilliant bursts of gold, sapphire, and silver fireworks exploded into the night sky, illuminating the smiling faces of our guests gathered on the lawn below.

There were no hitmen threatening innocent women in dark corridors. There were no silent hospital rooms filled with unspoken grief. There were no secrets separating our hearts.

The cold, ruthless Don was dead forever. The sovereign husband and protector had claimed his true home.

And standing under the vast, unbroken sky, wrapped in the arms of the man who loved every inch of my body and soul, holding my head high, I knew that my life, my heart, and my family were finally, beautifully, and forever home.
