Chapter 3: The Secret Bloodline and the Wrath of Marcus

It was then that the terrifying truth crashed down upon the helpless members of the household. Helena gripped the edge of the dining table for support, her face turning the color of ash. "Wait... your girl? What do you mean, your girl?" Helena whispered in horror. Marcus stood up slowly, towering over them like an avenging angel, his eyes blazing with a fury that promised absolute annihilation. "Elena is my only daughter," Marcus declared, the words dropping like lead weights into the room. "Years ago, she chose to live an independent life, marrying outside our world because she wanted peace. I respected her boundaries and watched from the shadows. But you pathetic excuses for human beings decided to treat my daughter like an animal, abusing her, starving her, and nearly murdering my unborn grandchild." Raul stumbled backward, knocking over the coffee pot as the horrific realization set in. They hadn't just married a normal, helpless woman with no family to protect her; they had brutally abused the beloved daughter of the most feared syndicate boss in the Tri-State area.

Marcus turned to his head of security, a towering ex-marine named Kade. "Take the parents and the sister into the courtyard. Freeze all their corporate assets, seize their real estate holdings, and dismantle their family business down to the last brick. They leave this estate with nothing—not even the clothes on their backs." Nora shrieked in absolute terror, dropping her phone as Kade’s men grabbed her by the arms and dragged her toward the shattered front door, ignoring her frantic screams. Helena and Raul were hauled out right behind her like common criminals. That left only Victor, shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, standing alone in the blood-stained kitchen. Marcus walked slowly toward him, closing the distance until their chests were almost touching. "As for you, Victor," Marcus whispered softly, a terrifying smile touching his lips. "You’re going to learn what true pain feels like before I let the federal prosecutors throw you into a maximum-security hole for the rest of your natural life."
