Inside the grand master bedroom, Daniel’s socialite mistress, Vanessa Sterling, stood frantic before open floor safes, trying to pack gold jewelry, designer handbags, and offshore bearer bonds into leather duffel bags.
BOOM!
The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!
Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed Vance Security officers.
"Vanessa Sterling!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"
Vanessa spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY FIANCÉ OWNS VANCE ENTERPRISES! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"
"Mr. Daniel Vance and Mr. Arthur Vance are currently in federal holding facing life imprisonment without possibility of parole for Aggravated Torture, Feticide, and Wire Fraud, Mrs. Sterling," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under their family's shell companies has been repossessed by order of Chairwoman Rachel Bennett-Vance."
The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:
THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of all luxury vehicles, jewelry collections, and bank accounts.
THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her Gold Coast penthouse.
