Chapter 7 - Unbroken and Forever SovereignAt 8:30 PM, as the New York sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky over Manhattan in brilliant shades of rose, gold, and deep sapphire, the private terrace was illuminated by dozens of soft, twinkling lights.

The guests laughed and drank champagne near the glass hearth, their voices echoing happily across the quiet city skyline.

I stood near the edge of the terrace with Clara, holding a glass of sunlit champagne, looking out at the sparkling lights of the city stretching before us into the unbroken night.

Leo stepped up to our table carrying a silver tray holding two fresh glasses of vintage wine.

"For Don Adrian and Donna Clara," Leo smiled warmly, offering a respectful bow before stepping back inside.

I picked up the crystal glasses, handing one to Clara, clinking my glass gently against hers under the warm evening sky.

"To the smartest accountant in the city," I toasted softly, my storm-gray eyes fixed entirely on her face.

"To the husband who learned to follow my lead," Clara smiled back, taking a slow sip of the rich, sweet wine.

I wrapped my broad arm securely around her waist, pulling her flush against my solid frame, as we watched the moon rise over Central Park.

There were no traitors lurking in dark service corridors. There were no fake promises made by corrupt men. There were no tears swallowed over quiet spreadsheets.

The lonely billionaire was dead forever. The sovereign family had claimed its kingdom.

And standing under the vast, unbroken sky, wrapped in the arms of the woman who loved every inch of my soul, holding my head high, I knew that our lives, our heart, and our future were finally, beautifully, and forever safe.
