Over three hundred prominent business leaders, supreme court justices, Marcus Vance, Bridget Colton, and close friends gathered around white-linen tables set up along the stone patio, enjoying fine food, vintage wine, and live acoustic music.
Standing at the main presentation podium, wearing a tailored charcoal tuxedo, was Sebastian Vale.
Beside him stood four-year-old Noah, Ivy, and Owen, wearing matching formal attire, holding small silver awards for their foundation's youth initiatives.
Sebastian adjusted his microphone, his storm-gray eyes sweeping across the quiet room before settling on where I sat at the head table.
His deep, resonant voice carried cleanly through the high-fidelity speakers:
"Four years ago, lies and dark shadows tried to destroy my family," Sebastian announced with deep, genuine pride. "But my wife, Maya, stood unbroken. She raised three miracles in silence, conquered the dark, and showed the world that true power belongs to love."
Sebastian held his champagne glass high under the sparkling chandeliers.
