Chapter 7 - The Symphony of FiveSeven months later.

The spring sun shone brightly over the rolling green lawns of the newly renovated Ashford Estate in Boston. The high stone walls were gone, replaced by beautiful iron gates, open gardens, and rolling paths covered in blooming cherry blossoms.
The dark mafia cartel was dead, replaced by the Ashford International Foundation—a multi-billion-dollar global trade corporation operating entirely in the light.
In the grand, sunlit master nursery on the second floor, three white cribs sat lined up near the tall windows overlooking the gardens.
Vivien sat in a plush velvet glider chair near the window, wearing a soft lavender dress, holding her newborn daughter, Clara, in her arms. Nearby, two mahogany bassinets held her two newborn sons—Leo and Alexander.
All three babies were healthy, beautiful, and thriving—born seven pounds each after a safe, smooth delivery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The nursery door opened softly, and Dominic walked in.
He was no longer wearing dark tactical gear or cold mafia suits. He wore a comfortable dark sweater and gray trousers, his handsome face bright, carrying a gentle warmth that had completely replaced the cold ice of his past.
He walked quietly over to the glider, leaning down to press a soft kiss to Vivien’s lips before looking down at his daughter sleeping peacefully in her arms.
"Are they asleep?" Dominic asked in a low whisper.
"Clara just drifted off," Vivien smiled, running her fingers softly over the tiny girl's dark hair. "Leo and Alex were out cold twenty minutes ago."
Dominic carefully reached down, his large, scarred hand gently picking up tiny Clara, cradling her against his broad chest with a tenderness that still brought tears to Vivien’s eyes every time she saw it.
He walked over to the tall windows, looking out over the sunlit gardens with his daughter in his arms.
"What are you thinking about?" Vivien asked softly, standing up from her chair and walking over to stand beside him, wrapping her arm around his waist, resting her head against his shoulder.
Dominic looked down at her, his storm-gray eyes glowing with immense love and peace.
"I was thinking about that night in the clinic," Dominic murmured, kissing the top of Vivien's head. "When my security team told me you had run into a supply closet and climbed out a window."
Vivien chuckled softly, blushing. "I was terrified of you."
"And now?" Dominic asked, a teasing, handsome smile touching his lips.
Vivien looked at her husband, then at the three cribs holding their beautiful triplets, feeling a warmth so deep and absolute it filled every corner of her soul.

"And now," Vivien whispered, reaching up to gently touch his jaw, "you are my home, my husband, and the best father in the world."
Dominic pulled her close, wrapping his arm securely around her waist, holding his wife and daughter in the warm golden sunlight of a bright new morning—a family born out of dark shadows, now living forever in the light.
