Chapter 5 - The Confrontation at Pier 4At 11:00 PM, a cold fog rolled over the Boston harbor, shrouding Pier 4 in a thick, gray mist.

Julian stood near a row of steel shipping containers, holding a heavy briefcase, flanked by ten armed mercenaries. A dark speedboat idled near the dock, waiting to take him across the bay to the Moretti compound.
Suddenly, the night was shattered by the roar of high-powered engines.
Six midnight-black Maybachs glided onto the pier, their headlights cutting through the fog, pinning Julian and his men in beams of blinding light.
When the heavy doors opened, thirty armed Baron operators poured out, taking tactical positions along the shipping crates.
Stepping out from the central vehicle, wearing an immaculate black suit, moving with absolute, sovereign power, was Elias.
Julian backed against a steel crate, his face draining completely of color as he drew his sidearm with trembling hands. "Elias...! How did you find me?!"
"You used Daniel Hayes's sister to cover your greed, Julian," Elias spoke. His thunderous baritone echoed across the quiet harbor like a rolling wave of thunder, freezing the blood in every mercenary's veins.
"She was nobody!" Julian shrieked in frantic panic. "A useless cleaner! Who cares about her?!"
"She is the sister of the man who saved my life," Elias declared, taking three slow, unhurried steps toward Julian, his dark eyes burning with an apocalyptic fire. "And in this city... touching her is a death sentence."
Elias raised his hand and gave a single, flat signal.
Before Julian’s mercenaries could even raise their weapons, federal agents and tactical operators who had been working alongside Elias's intelligence network moved in from the surrounding warehouses, trapping the rival faction in a complete, airtight net.
