Chapter 4 - The Fall of the ConspiratorsWhile Margaret Hartwell and Sofia Marino were being processed at the Cook County Maximum Security Facility without bail, private security teams executed simultaneous search warrants on Margaret’s luxury penthouse in Gold Coast Chicago.

The high-end residence—purchased using embezzled Hartwell trust capital—was repossessed under federal civil asset forfeiture laws.
Inside the grand master bedroom, Margaret’s socialite sister, Evelyn's Aunt Beatrice, stood frantic before open floor safes, trying to pack gold jewelry, designer handbags, and offshore bearer bonds into leather duffel bags.
BOOM!
The heavy double glass doors of the foyer were thrown open!
Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed Vance Security officers.
"Beatrice Hartwell!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"
Beatrice spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY SISTER IS CHAIRWOMAN OF HARTWELL REAL ESTATE! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"
"Mrs. Margaret Hartwell and Mrs. Sofia Marino are currently in federal holding facing life imprisonment without possibility of parole for First-Degree Murder, Miss Hartwell," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under your family's shell companies has been repossessed by order of Chairwoman Evelyn Hartwell."
The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:
THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of all luxury vehicles, jewelry collections, and bank accounts.
THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her Gold Coast penthouse.

THE TERMINATION: Permanent revocation of her high-society credentials and corporate access.
Beatrice collapsed flat onto the marble floor, weeping hysterical, pathetic tears as officers served her with civil seizure notices while news crews filmed her total, public disgrace.
