Chapter 7 - Unbroken and Forever HomeAt 8:30 PM, as the spring sun dipped below the Westchester horizon, painting the sky in sweeping tapestries of indigo, gold, and deep sapphire, the private garden terrace was illuminated by dozens of soft, twinkling fairy lights.

Six-year-old Jordan and Justin ran up the stone steps of the terrace, throwing their small arms around my legs and Annie's gown, giggling happily as I scooped them both up into my broad chest.

I held my sons securely against my chest while wrapping my free arm around Annie’s waist, pulling her body flush against mine under the twinkling lights.

Lucas Vance raised his champagne glass from the primary table, his deep baritone carrying cleanly across the quiet grounds.

"To Arthur, Annie, Jordan, and Justin Morrison!" Lucas toasted with deep, genuine pride. "The sovereign family who built an empire of love out of unbroken strength, truth, and eternal grace!"

"To the Morrison family!" the entire terrace echoed in a warm, triumphant chorus, dozens of crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.

Across the dark, sparkling waters of the Hudson River, brilliant bursts of gold, sapphire, and silver fireworks exploded into the night sky, illuminating the smiling faces of our guests gathered on the lawn below.

There were no cruel nannies locking children in dark pantries. There were no silent, lonely rooms filled with unspoken grief. There were no secrets separating our hearts.

The cold, workaholic billionaire was dead forever. The sovereign father and husband had claimed his true home.

And standing under the vast, unbroken sky, wrapped in the arms of the woman who loved every inch of my body and soul, holding my sons safe in my hands, I knew that my life, my heart, and my family were finally, beautifully, and forever home.
