Chapter 6 - The Unbroken NameOn a warm Saturday afternoon in early September, the grand garden behind the Georgetown estate was filled with white roses, golden sunlight, and the peaceful sound of a harp playing softly near the marble fountain.

Thirty close friends, family members, and trusted staff sat in simple wooden chairs set up along the green lawn.

Ethan stood near the floral arch wearing an immaculate navy suit, his slate-gray eyes fixed on the double doors of the terrace.

The doors opened.

Lena walked out onto the stone patio, wearing a breathtaking, simple ivory lace gown that caught the autumn breeze. Her dark hair was styled with fresh white jasmine, and her hazel eyes shone with tears of pure, unadulterated joy.

Walking on either side of her, holding her hands in their tiny suits, were two-year-old Nico and Leo, carefully tossing pink rose petals onto the aisle as they guided her toward their father.

When Lena reached the arch, Ethan took both of her hands into his, his broad palms wrapping around her fingers with absolute, eternal devotion.

The minister smiled, opening the ceremonial book.

"Who gives this woman to be married to this man?" the minister asked warmly.

Nico and Leo looked up, flashing bright, radiant smiles that mirrored their father's eyes.

"We do!" both boys shouted together, their clear, sweet voices echoing across the sunlit garden, making the guests let out a warm, collective laugh.

Ethan looked down at Lena, his voice trembling slightly as he spoke his vows.

"Two years ago, Lena," Ethan said, his gray eyes shining with emotion, "I brought you into this house to be a nanny. I was blind, distant, and lost in my own grief. You didn't just save my sons' lives... you taught me how to be a father. You brought light back into a home that was dark, and you gave my boys the one thing money could never buy: a real mother."

He slipped a flawless, six-carat emerald-cut diamond ring onto her finger.

Lena looked up into his eyes, tears of happiness spilling over her eyelashes, resting her hand over his cheek.

"I love you, Ethan," she whispered cleanly. "And I love our boys with all my heart."

"By the authority vested in me," the minister smiled, "I now pronounce you husband and wife."

Ethan leaned down, pulling Lena into his arms, kissing her with a deep, consuming passion that sealed their lives together under the open sky, while Nico and Leo cheered, clapping their small hands as they jumped up and down around their feet.
