Chapter 4 - The Fall of the ConspiratorsWhile Caleb Sterling and Tessa Vance were being processed at the federal precinct without bail, private security enforcement teams executed simultaneous search warrants on Tessa’s private boutique studio in downtown Boston.

The high-end commercial property—purchased using embezzled Sterling trust capital—was repossessed under federal civil asset forfeiture laws.

Inside the grand studio, Tessa’s mother, Evelyn Vance, stood frantic before open floor safes, trying to pack gold jewelry, designer handbags, and offshore bearer bonds into duffel bags.

BOOM!

The heavy double glass entrance doors were thrown open!

Deputy Marshal Hayes stepped inside, flanked by four armed Vance Security officers.

"Evelyn Vance!" Deputy Hayes declared coldly. "Drop the bags and step away from the safe!"

Evelyn spun around, her manicured fingers shaking furiously. "WHAT IS THIS?! MY DAUGHTER IS MARRIED TO MARCUS VANCE! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS PROPERTY!"

"Mr. Caleb Sterling and Miss Tessa Vance are currently in federal holding facing twenty years in a federal penitentiary without parole for Wire Fraud and Embezzlement, Mrs. Vance," Deputy Hayes informed her deadpan. "And all property registered under their family's shell companies has been repossessed by order of Chairwoman Claire Sterling."

The enforcement team executed the seizure warrants without hesitation:

THE ASSET SEIZURE: Repossession of all luxury vehicles, jewelry collections, and bank accounts.

THE EVICTION: Formal twenty-four-hour eviction notice executed on her commercial studio.

THE TERMINATION: Permanent revocation of her high-society credentials and corporate access.

Evelyn collapsed flat onto the marble floor, weeping pathetic tears as officers served her with civil seizure notices while television news crews filmed her complete downfall for the evening news.
