Chapter 5 - Unraveling the EmpireThe silence in the boardroom was absolute. Arthur Vance half-rose from his leather chair, his face contorted in sputtering rage.

Julian stared down at the documents, his hands trembling violently as he recognized my uncle’s signature and the official corporate seal. "No... that's impossible... we checked those filings years ago..." he whispered, panic finally breaking through his polished exterior. "You checked what Julian allowed you to see," I said, walking slowly around the table until I stood right beside his chair. "You thought you married a quiet art major from Brooklyn who would quietly accept being discarded. Instead, you invited your own corporate executioner into your bed." Arthur slammed his hands on the table, turning his fury on his son. "What is he talking about, Julian? What hidden heirs? What fraud?!" The board members began murmuring frantically, whispering among themselves as they reviewed the ironclad legal proof of Julian’s secret family and his conspiracy to defraud the company's foundational trust.
