Chapter 6 - The Festival of PlanetsIn late September 2026, the grand auditorium of the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry was packed to absolute capacity for the inaugural Bennett Twins Astronomy & Civic Gala.

Over five hundred prominent business leaders, supreme court justices, federal prosecutors, and high-society matriarchs gathered beneath glowing planetarium lights.

Standing at the main presentation podium, wearing a dark bespoke tuxedo, his broad frame squared, his handsome face glowing with deep, quiet pride, was me.

Beside me stood five-year-old Theo, proudly holding his newly published book of space illustrations, and Eli, wearing a tiny tux, holding his mother's hand.

And standing on my right, wearing a breathtaking floor-length dark emerald silk dress, holding my hand with a warm, unbreakable grip, was Naomi.

I adjusted the microphone, my deep, resonant baritone echoing cleanly through the high-fidelity speakers:

"Five years ago, I was a man living in the dark, believing that wealth was the measure of a life," I announced to the silent room, my gray eyes shining with genuine, unshakeable emotion as I looked down at my family. "And then I found my twin sons sharing a croissant in a small bakery... and their mother brought me back to the light."

I held my champagne glass high under the glittering lights.

"To my Chairwoman, my first love, and the queen of my heart: Donna Naomi Bennett-Blackwood... and our brilliant sons, Theo and Eli!"

"To Naomi, Theo, and Eli!" the entire room erupted into a warm, unanimous standing ovation, five hundred crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.
