Chapter 6 - The Festival of the Four PrincesIn late September 2026, the grand ballroom of the St. Regis Manhattan was packed to absolute capacity for the inaugural Ferris-Ashford Quadruplets Heritage & Civic Gala.

Over five hundred prominent business leaders, supreme court justices, federal prosecutors, and high-society matriarchs gathered beneath sparkling crystal chandeliers.

Standing at the main presentation podium, wearing a dark bespoke tuxedo, my broad six-foot-three frame squared, my handsome face glowing with deep, quiet pride, was me.

Beside me stood Donna Lauren Ferris-Ashford, looking breathtaking in a floor-length dark emerald silk evening gown, alongside our four six-year-old sons—Mason, Henry, Theo, and Wyatt—who wore matching navy-blue silk tuxedos, their hazel-green eyes glowing with happiness.

Around Lauren’s neck hung her late father’s vintage gold signet pendant.

I adjusted the microphone, my deep, resonant baritone echoing cleanly through the high-fidelity speakers:

"Six years ago, a dark lie tried to tear my family apart and leave my four sons in the shadows," I announced to the silent room, my gray eyes shining with genuine, unshakeable emotion. "And on a rainy February evening, four little boys in navy sweaters showed me that true love doesn't vanish... it waits for you to bring them home."

I held my champagne glass high under the glittering lights.

"To my Chairwoman, my savior, and my four brave princes: Lauren, Mason, Henry, Theo, and Wyatt!"

"To Lauren and the boys!" the entire room erupted into a warm, unanimous standing ovation, five hundred crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.
