Chapter 6 - The Boardroom ExecutionThe grand boardroom on the 80th floor of the Whitmore Tower in New York was packed to capacity. The air was thick with tension, corporate greed, and the frantic whispers of Wall Street’s most powerful investors. Today was the emergency shareholder meeting called by Vance Bio-Tech to forcibly remove Daniel Whitmore as CEO, citing personal instability and the chronic illness of his heir, Sophie.

Evelyn Vance sat at the center of the mahogany table, surrounded by her board members. She looked radiant, believing she had successfully blocked Daniel’s return from London by tieing him up in airport security loops.
“Ladies and gentlemen,” Evelyn announced, tapping her microphone. “The medical reports for Sophie Whitmore are clear. The child suffers from a degenerative neurological condition. Daniel Whitmore has abandoned his corporate duties to seek alternative, unscientific treatments. For the stability of our stock, we must vote for immediate removal.”
“The stock is stable, Evelyn. It’s your family’s freedom that’s about to crash.”
The heavy double doors of the boardroom were thrown open.
Daniel Whitmore marched into the room. He wasn't alone. Beside him walked Maya Lin, dressed in a sharp, elegant tailored suit that replaced her worn sweatshirt, her amber eyes scanning the room with terrifying intelligence. Behind them came a team of federal prosecutors and agents from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The entire room erupted into chaos. Shareholders stood up, cameras flashed, and Evelyn’s legal team scrambled to their feet.
“Daniel!” Evelyn stammered, recovering her composure quickly. “You can't just burst in here with… with children! This is a closed board meeting!”
“This is an execution,” Daniel corrected, taking his place at the head of the table. He nodded to Maya.
Maya walked over to the main projection console. Without a hint of fear before the billionaires in the room, she plugged the silver flash drive they had recovered from the London vault into the server.
“My name is Maya Lin,” she said, her voice clear, calm, and carrying an undeniable authority. “For the past forty-eight hours, I have been analyzing the data compiled by Dr. Clara Whitmore before her murder. What you are looking at on these screens is the true formula for Project Genesis—a perfect, non-toxic infant nutritional supplement that completely cures chronic colic and metabolic disorders.”
The screens lit up with complex chemical structures, clinical trial data, and undeniable proof of success.
“But more importantly,” Maya continued, her voice turning cold as she clicked to the next file, “this drive contains the internal emails between Evelyn Vance and the executive board of Vance Bio-Tech. Emails detailing the intentional contamination of the market’s current infant formulas to create a synthetic dependency on their expensive neurological sedatives.”
Gasps echoed through the room. Shareholders stared at the screens in absolute horror. The evidence was absolute—financial fraud, corporate murder, and intentional harm to children on a global scale.
“This is a lie! It’s a fabrication by a street rat!” Evelyn shrieked, her face twisting into an ugly mask of desperation. “Security, remove her!”
But the security guards didn't move toward Maya. They stepped aside as the federal prosecutors walked up to Evelyn, presenting a warrant for her arrest.
“Evelyn Vance,” the lead prosecutor announced. “You are under arrest for corporate espionage, conspiracy to commit murder, and violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Take her away.”
As Evelyn was led out of the boardroom in handcuffs, screaming curses at Daniel and Maya, the remaining board members sat in stunned, terrified silence.
Daniel stood up, looking at the shareholders. “The Vance monopoly is dead. Tomorrow, Whitmore Enterprises will release Project Genesis to the public—completely free of charge. Clara’s legacy will save millions of children.”

He turned to Maya, a soft, proud smile breaking through his stern expression. “And the new Research and Development Division of this empire will be headed by the only person brilliant enough to unlock the truth.”
The boardroom erupted into applause, a standing ovation for the teenage girl from economy class who had brought an empire to its knees. But Maya just looked out the window at the New York skyline, her mind already calculating the next proof. She had saved the baby, she had found justice for the mother, and now, her own story was about to find its perfect equation.
