Chapter 6 - The Festival of the Golden CrownIn late September 2026, one year after that 3:47 A.M. night when Anthony found me on the sofa, the grand auditorium of the Plaza Hotel in Chicago was packed to absolute capacity for the inaugural Claire Eleanor Porter Heritage & Art Gala.

Over five hundred prominent business leaders, supreme court justices, federal prosecutors, and high-society matriarchs gathered beneath sparkling crystal chandeliers.
On a private velvet pedestal near the presentation podium rested a beautifully framed charcoal overcoat—the very coat Anthony had wrapped around my shoulders—now transformed into a symbol of sovereign protection and unbroken love.
Standing at the main presentation podium, wearing a dark bespoke charcoal tuxedo, his broad six-foot-three frame squared, his handsome face glowing with deep, quiet pride, holding six-month-old baby Claire in his arms, was Don Anthony Porter.
Beside him stood Donna Nata Bennett-Porter, looking breathtaking in a floor-length dark emerald silk evening gown, her hazel eyes glowing with complete happiness.
Around my neck hung my late mother’s restored gold signet pendant.
Anthony adjusted the microphone, his deep, resonant baritone echoing cleanly through the high-fidelity speakers:
"One year ago, I came home at 3:47 in the morning, found my wife curled on my sofa wrapped in my coat holding a traitor's envelope, and saved my soul," Anthony announced to the silent room, his storm-gray eyes shining with genuine, unshakeable devotion as he looked down at me and baby Claire. "And on that night, a brave queen who lost her memory shattered a traitor's conspiracy, claimed her sovereign birthright, and brought my entire world back to the light."
Anthony held his champagne glass high under the glittering lights.

"To my Chairwoman, my savior, and the queen of my heart: Donna Nata Bennett-Porter!"
"To Nata!" the entire room erupted into a warm, unanimous standing ovation, five hundred crystal glasses clinking together under the open sky.
