Chapter 6 - The Symposium at HarvardIn late September 2026, the grand auditorium of the Harvard Faculty Club was packed to absolute capacity for the inaugural Noah Bennett Mathematics & Economics Symposium.

Over three hundred prominent academics, Nobel laureates, university deans, and international researchers gathered beneath sparkling chandeliers.
Standing at the main presentation podium, wearing a dark bespoke suit, was eighteen-year-old Noah Bennett. His broad six-foot-two frame was squared, his intelligent hazel eyes shining with absolute clarity as he presented his ground-breaking economic paper on algorithmic market stabilization.
Beside the front row sat me, looking breathtaking in a dark emerald silk gown that celebrated my tall, radiant figure.
Sitting three rows back in the shadows, wearing a charcoal tuxedo, was Vincent Moretti. He sat quietly, his eyes filled with tears, clutching a small wooden box containing his late father's gold pocket watch—a watch he hoped to give Noah when the boy was ready.
Noah concluded his lecture to a deafening, unanimous standing ovation from the prestigious crowd!
He stepped down from the podium, walking past the cheering professors, stepping straight up to my chair. He pulled me into a warm, strong hug, kissing my cheek.
"Thank you, Mom," Noah whispered softly. "For everything."
Then, for the first time in eighteen years, Noah turned his head, looking toward the rear of the room, looking directly into Vincent Moretti’s weeping eyes.

Noah gave a small, dignified nod of respect—a gesture that acknowledged the bloodline, while confirming that his heart belonged entirely to the mother who had raised him.
Vincent buried his face in his hands, weeping tears of profound, quiet gratitude.
