Chapter 5 - The UnravelingLord Harrison picked up the medical files, his sharp gray eyes scanning the toxicology reports and the handwritten agreement bearing Eleanor’s signature.

His jaw dropped open in total, horror-stricken shock.
"Eleanor..." Lord Harrison breathed out, his voice trembling as he looked up at her. "Is this... is this your handwriting?"
Eleanor’s arrogant posture fractured. She reached for the paper, but Special Agent Marcus Vance stepped in front of her, holding out a certified federal arrest warrant.
"Eleanor Vance," Agent Vance announced, his voice echoing through the silent boardroom. "You are under arrest for conspiracy to commit murder, corporate wire fraud, and systemic medical endangerment."
Eleanor’s face went paper-white. Her manicured hands began to tremble violently as the surrounding shareholders gasped, pulling their chairs back from her in absolute disgust.
"This is a frame-up!" Eleanor shrieked frantically, looking at her attorney. "Richard! Tell them! I didn't write that note! Kenneth Rollins is a liar!"
"Kenneth Rollins signed a sworn confession forty-five minutes ago inside his hospital room, Mrs. Vance," Agent Vance reported coldly. "And Dr. Aris Thorne was taken into federal custody twenty minutes ago at his clinic in Upper East."
Richard Sterling slowly closed his briefcase, stepped back from Eleanor, and bowed his head. "I am stepping down as your legal counsel, Eleanor. I suggest you remain silent."
Two female officers stepped forward, pulling Eleanor’s arms behind her back, slapping heavy steel handcuffs around her wrists with an iron CLICK.

"Sabrina! Please!" Eleanor wept pathetically, her aristocratic composure completely shattered into ugly, groveling fragments as she was dragged toward the double doors. "I did it for the family! I did it to protect your father's legacy!"
"My father's legacy was built on honor, Eleanor," I stated cleanly, holding my head high as she was escorted through the foyer in chains. "And today... my family claims its throne."
